As women travelling alone, we felt safe and secure in the female-only dorm. the showers were private and convenient, with soap and shampoo provided. the staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the hostel had a well-stocked kitchen and even had "free food shelves" for travelers to share unused food. the live music on Thursday nights was a great bonus. the location was ideal, being right next to the bus station and at the start of the main street, making it easy to explore the city.
Felt welcomed into the family, no complaints at all.

The location was perfect, right beside a bus stop and along the main shopping street. The lounge downstairs was cozy and nice, and the bar had a great atmosphere. The beds were good and there was ample space in the 14 bed mixed bedroom. Staff were fun, helpful, and available 24/7.
Everything was fantastic.

I recently stayed at a clean and comfortable hostel in the center of Reykjavik. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel was cheaper than most in the city. The location was convenient, with a bus stop right outside for tours and airport transfers, and a short walk to downtown Reykjavik. The large rooms and useful kitchen made for a comfortable stay, and the free coffee and interesting local events were a bonus. The exceptional breakfast was great value for the price. I would definitely return!
I recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it exceeded my expectations. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the prime location at the beginning of the busiest street in the city. Being close to a bus station with a cash-machine inside was so convenient. Not to mention, the hotel's proximity to the shopping street and the ocean added to the overall experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities provided were more than satisfactory. The highlight for me was the comfortable bed in my room on the 4th floor, which offered an exceptionally beautiful view from the balcony. Lastly, the breakfast served at this hotel was absolutely delicious.
All was satisfactory, nothing to complain about.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to downtown shopping and restaurants. It is near enough to the city center, making it easy to explore all the attractions in Reykjavik. The rooms are spacious and clean, with ample storage space underneath the beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing great service. The showers are spacious and offer privacy with separate stalls. Plus, the hotel offers happy hours and a kitchen to cook your own meals.
The pricing for various items in the hotel is quite expensive.
